Qorso Technology’s leadership team averages nearly 20 years of experience in the software, design and consulting industries. They specialize in working with large and mid-sized global corporations and have provided advice and counsel for numerous Fortune 100 and national government clients.

 

Daniel Smith, Interim CEO
As the interim CEO, Daniel maintains the overall strategy and client service vision for Qorso Technology. Daniel has extensive experience and education in both operations and technology development and is chartered with leading Qorso through our initial build up phase. He has over 25 years experience at such firms as Microsoft, Accenture, and Oracle in executive, project management, and business development capacities. He has successfully led the launch of new products and business units internationally and is recognized as being a staunch technology evangelist for the transformation of businesses and nations using new technologies. Daniel earned his MS in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from George Washington University. He graduated from Boston College with a BA in Business Management.

 

Kyle Anderson
Vice President, Engineering Director
With extensive interface, portal, and robotics design and design management experience, Kyle came to Qorso Technology to help shape the company’s design capability. Additionally, he drives the company’s mission to provide our clients with game changing innovation through creative engineering. Kyle has over 20 years experience at such firms as Siemens, IBM, and Accenture. Kyle attended the Rhode Island School of Design where he earned a BFA in Industrial Design. He also earned a BA in Government from Dartmouth College.

 

Eric Guyer
Vice President, Technology
As Vice President of Technology, John is responsible for leading all of Qorso Technology’s technology efforts and managing the company’s development process. He provides clients with range of capabilities, including project management, technical oversight and development and delivery of mission critical applications. His leadership is focused on driving improvements and expanding capabilities within our technology team to better serve our clients. He is also responsible for all operations concerning the development of our clients’ projects from inception to launch. Eric has over 22 years of experience in software systems design, development, management, and research at firms such as Microsoft, M.I.T. Labs, and Intel. Eric is the visionary behind the innovative Synaptic Storm learner and content management system offered under the Q Mind brand. Eric holds a Ph.D in Mathematics from M.I.T., a B.S. in Applied Computing Sciences from University of Massachusetts, and is currently an MBA candidate with University of Massachusetts.

 

Bao-Zhi Xu, CTO
As CTO, Bao-Zhi is responsible for bolstering Qorso Technology’s technology offerings, developing and leading the company’s strategic technology alliances, and working closely with global multi-national clients on large strategic initiatives. He leverages over 27 years of experience as an entrepreneur and veteran consultant specializing in commercial and open source content management, portal development, mobility and mobile platforms, and defense robotics devices, and collaboration platforms for large-scale enterprise customers.
Bao-Zhi holds a MS in Software Systems and Design from the Univ. of CA, Berkley.

 

Michelle Williams
Senior Vice President, Sales
Michelle is Qorso Technology’s head of sales and is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing the sales strategy for the company and working to expand the team, client base and market penetration. With nearly 20 years of experience in technology and consulting, Michelle combines practical industry and technology knowledge with a personalized style in working directly with clients and team members. Michelle spent over ten years as a management team member with CSC Consulting’s Financial Services Practice serving clients in the securities and capital markets areas while also leading key client relationships. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Princeton.

 

Richard Garcia
Managing Director, Government Services Group
With nearly 20 years of experience, Dave is responsible for growing and managing Qorso Technology’s GSG. An experienced manager, team leader and technical strategist, he provides design and technology thought leadership to clients, employees and partners within the government services space. Rich manages operations, sales, and delivery for the entire GSG unit. He brings tremendous skill and experience coming from Lockheed Martin and Boeing Defense and Aerospace lineage with great success in the strategy, design, and implementation of technology projects within government agencies such as DISA, NSA, Dept. of Homeland Security, U.S. Navy SPAWAR, and the DLA. Rich has a B.A. in Business from the Univ. of Colorado and is a decorated Veteran in both the Afghanistan and Iraq campaigns serving as a Reconnaissance Patrol Leader, and later serving in the Operations and Intel shops. He is a council leader for the North American Veteran-Owned Business Association.

 

Dino Pappas
Managing Director, Q Mesh
Dino is responsible for growing and managing Qorso Technology’s Central region. His depth and breadth of technical skill coupled with solid business acumen enable him to successfully lead professional services organizations while providing proven business and technology solutions for clients. Prior to joining Qorso Technology, Dino was the CTO, COO and co-founder of Xpresence AG, a Contingency Staffing cloud-sourcing firm based in Davos, Switzerland and serving the EU. In this role, he was responsible for the company’s operations and supporting services as well as client and partner relationships. He also developed the technical architecture and architecture strategy for all products and services enabling the on-the-fly sourcing of very specialized talent all on an online platform. Before that, Dino served as chief technologist/enterprise solutions architect for eMERSIVMedia an SV Partners AG company. Dino holds an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (National Honorary Business Society). Dino earned a BA in Computer Science from Cornell University.

 

Chen Li
Managing Director, QLoud
Chen is an innovator and pioneer in Cloud Computing. In addition to growing and managing Qorso Technology’s Cloud infrastructure, Chen is developing an integrated framework for measuring and managing applications performance over the Qorso QLoud to help our clients visualize tangible and intangible benefits in using the QLoud for their portal and web-based exchange applications. Before that, Chen served as Principal Architect and Principal Program Manager for Cloud Computing at IBM where he was responsible for managing and delivering several key client engagements encompassing strategy development through design, implementation and post-acceptance support for efforts to move large mission-critical enterprise applications to a PaaS (Platform as a Service) format. Earlier in his career, Chen held several IT management, architecture and chief engineering positions at SBC/Ameritech, M.I.T. Media Lab, and IBM. Chen holds an MS in Engineering from Duke University and a B.A. in Applied Computing from George Washington University where he also minored in Physics.

 

Michael Clark
Managing Director, Alien App Farm – Qorso Mobile Apps
Michael is responsible for the Mobile Apps team at Qorso. He manages all product development and research teams for our 3 core mobile platforms: iPhone/iPAD, Android OS, and Windows 7 Mobile. We believe Mobility is one of the four pillars of game changing technologies (Cloud Computing, Mobility, Collaboration, and Purpose-Driven Social Media) that will profoundly impact our clients’ ability to grow revenue and profitability in the new global economy. With over 16 years of experience, he leverages a strong background in mobile applications development at such firms as Microsoft, Zynga, T-Mobile, and CNBC.com. Michael is an elite expert in Mobile Application strategy, design, development, and architectures.
